Brussels Notes: JAT café

Brussels Notes: JAT café

In my very first blog post where I listed my favorite cafés in Brussels I mentioned also the JAT café. It was one of the first cafés I found in Brussels. And it looked exactly like the places I usually love. The JAT café has all the attributes of a good coffee place. First, they serve delicious caffé latte with thick creamy foam. Second, it is nicely designed with charming seating and huge windows that let lots of light in. And third, you can find here a wide selection of foods (sweet and salty).

One of the things I love about the JAT café is its proximity to the city center. It is located just a few minutes from major sights and right around the corner from the Royal Palace of Brussels. With seating inside and outside it can serve lots of people. The coffee taste is great and the prices are more less the same as in other cafés in the city center. And I personally love that they serve the coffee with small coconut kisses. The only downside is the price of the food at the place which is rather high (in comparison to other similar places). The take-away it’s cheaper, so it’s a good idea to just get take-away and make a picnic at the nearby park.

We made a quick stop at the JAT café for a coffee and cake after we visited the Royal Palace last weekend. Here are few pictures from our visit.
