Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Our New Year’s celebration got as every year. Our home celebration of the previous year and joyous entering into the new one is every year pretty much the same and wouldn’t change it for anything. I love that we have comfy clothes, traditional Slovak sauerkraut soup, a funny movie or series to watch and something bubbly to drink to the New Year.

2017 was a remarkable year, and you can see it in the blog archives. There were many new places we visited, new things we learned and tried. We found new hobbies and likes. I can only hope 2018 will be at least as good.

To make sure we don’t stagnate but grow, I love to brainstorm new projects for the new year. There are new projects to try, new things to learn, new places to visit. We already have a few concrete plans and dreams for 2018, but I’m sure they will change and shape as we’ll go.

What I would like to focus on this year is to simplify and optimize in all areas. And it will look different for each aspect of life. I already have a few concrete ideas how to simplify and optimize how I do things.

I would love for 2018 to bring less stress and anxiety and more calm and joy. For it to be the year when I learn something and adopt new habits which would stick for years to come. I would love to try new things without the fear of failure, accepting things as they happen. And I would like for you to make the next twelve months as aspiring, fulfilling, and wonderful as I hope I’ll make mine.

I would like to focus on less. Less stuff, projects, responsibilities. So I’ll be able to dedicate each more time and attention. I would love to learn more about one new area over a few months, to fully grasp it, and then, learn something new. I would love to share my journey here on the blog, explore new topics, and shape this blog more to my and your liking.

Happy New Year to all of you! I hope to see you around at least as much as in 2017!
